VIVAnews - Directorate General of Taxes and Excise will implement customer advance trade system (CATS) in December 2009 which may result in efficient logistics expenses.
Deputy of Coordinating Minister for the Economy of Industry and Trade Division Edy Putra Irawadi said without the CATS, there has been wasted fund in Indonesian export trade facilities. He cited that logistics expenses were 14.18 percent higher from the production expenses.
"We are hoping that the CATS can reduce the expenses up to five percent," said Irawadi in a CATS workshop in Jakarta on Monday, May 18.
