VIVAnews - PT HM Sampoerna Tbk. (HMSP)'s general meeting of stockholders decided a dividend payout of Rp 600 per share.
"The schedule and arrangement of the dividend payout will be announced later," said HM Sampoerna Director of Communications Niken Rachmad during the company's general meeting of stockholders in Jakarta on Wednesday, May 27.
However, the 67.5 percent dividend of the 2008 net profit will be shared in two tranches. The first tranche valuing Rp 340 will be shared on July 6, while the schedule of the second tranche is still being discussed.
The cigarette company has recorded a raise in the net profit in 2008 by 7.4 percent to Rp 3.89 trillion (US$375.19 million) compared to the same period in 2007 of Rp 3.62 trillion.
